Amazing for a girl with a fro

I am african-american and don't have a relaxer. This means after I wash my hair, i get an afro. my cousin did my hair and told me to use this. OMG this is like my secret weapon! It's just so ridiculously amazing you just have to try it! Plus, after my hair is straightened, it's kinda strawlike, but this makes it so soft and smooth!
Multi Purpose - Great for Travel

I have used this product for years, and find it to be the best all around product out there, especially for travel. I carry this as styling product - I have very dry frizzy hair which gets worse in the heat of the caribbean and from the swimming in the ocean and pool so at night after the day in the sun, I use this on just washed & conditioned hair, and it relaxes the frizz, and defines the curls a bit more, while adding extra conditioning treatment which is greatly needed - but I admit don't apply right to the roots as the ends are dry and the roots greasy. Mostly to the ends, and generally scrunch in the rest. Unlike other products it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. BUT that is because you don't need a lot of the product. Just a tiny dab in the palm of your hands - rub them together and then spread through your hair. Also use it on my body, just after showering. No need to pack extra lotions, this stuff works great on skin. The best is that it is light, and not sticky on the body which I hate on a caribbean holiday. Yes it is a little pricey - but a little goes a very long way. Remeber, tiny bit on the hands, rub lightly together and apply. You can also find it in smaller containers, perfect for a travel companion. I also think that it warded off mosquitos quite a bit (my hubby got bit while I didn't).....but I haven't heard anyone else mention, and haven't paid enough attention as only started to notice on this last holiday.

I have used biosilk for years now...If I dont i cant get a comb through my hair. I color my hair and it is over processed so the biosilk is awsome. It is great to use wet and dry to smooth out fly aways. Biosilk is not sticky like alot of other product if you dont wash it off your hands you dont even notice, someties I leave it on because it smells so good.

I have tried a lot of products to fight frizz, but this is by far the best. I'm African American and my hair is natural. I live in Chicago, which has awful humidity. I've tried anti-frizz hair sprays, which only made my hair frizz even more. I learned from someone that since my hair retained moisture, an anti-frizz hair spray was adding moisture to moisture. Then, I visited a stylist in St. Louis who used Silk Therapy. I attended a baseketball game in a hot, humid gym. Amazingly, my hair continued to have movement, it didn't fall, and it didn't frizz!!!!! If you want to invest in the best, this product is well worth the price. Be certain not to use too much. A little goes a long way.

I have used BioSilk Therapy on my hair for over 7 years. I love the way it makes my hair feel so silky and shiny. I use the shampoo,conditioner, and theray. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

Some other reviews on the different sizes of Biosilk Silk Therapy stated that it was watered down compared to what they had bought in a salon. My sister got hers at a salon at full price, so I have been using often until I decided to buy some myself. I bought mine from Folica because the outcome was cheaper. When I got my product it had a seal that you had to remove the product. It also states to "Shake well before use". I didn't read that the first time I put a small amount in my palm and I freaked because it did seem more watery than my sisters. After feeling dumb and shaking it, it thickened up. So it is legitimate. No worries. My hair is naturally wavy to almost curly. I straighten it EVERY DAY and blow dry it every day I wash it. This product does do a significant amount to your hair. When I used my sister's for a week then discontinued while I waited for mine to ship, my hair was sad, dry and frizzy and NOT as soft to the touch. It's noticeable! Believe me. Buy it and enjoy!

I have very thick hair, and the only way I am able to manage it, or run a brush through it is with this product!! I love it and would recommend it to everyone!!! A friend of mine stay at my house a few nights, and I don't use conditioner because it makes my hair greasy. She was upset because she said she can't do her hair without conditioner. I gave her the bottle of BioSilk and told her to use it, and now she's hooked!!! We both love the way our hair feels, looks, and smells after we use this product!!
