i don't know what happened with the other woman's hair, but the roller, though they may be annoying(because they only heat one at a time)they worked great! they curled my hair fine, you cannot put large pieces of hair on the rollers at once, but the curl lasts all day! it worked great for me, i used only alight hold hairspray and it lasted :) i was very pleased with the rollers and recommend them to anyone!
