The BEST by far, and I have tried everything!!!

Let me start by saying I am caucasion but I have almost ethnic textured hair. Very course strands, a lot of curl and its thick. I have tried and returned about 10 flat irons this year determined to find one that actually was worth the money. I have had a Solia for 3 years and my hair DOES NOT grow. It gets your hair sort of straight but the ends are fried. The one good point about it is that I take it to and from work almost every day and it works fine, so its durable. Since March I have had a chi, chi nana, T3, Sedu, Helix, FHI, and some other crapo-s from Sallys. This GHD not only makes my hair much straighter then the others, but it looks healthy and shiney! Its not breaking like it was at all. I am very impressed, please at least try it and you will never even consider another brand. I even did a test, I did one side of my hair with the GHD and the other with the FHI. Went to work, just to see if people would tell. I asked several people what side looked better, EVERY person said the GHD side by far. So do your own experiment, buy it, try it and you will be so happy. I know what I have had bad hair days it affects my confidence a lot (sorry its true, a lot of people are this way)...I say get something that works. I almost wish I had bought the MK4 but I didnt want to spend over 200, next time I get a new one I will probably get the MK4. Anyways, take my word for it or try it yourself, this is the best I have seen yet! BY FAR!
The all in one Iron!!!!

After so long looking for an iron that not only straightens, but curls and does waves, i have finally found it!!!! the outside barrel is not too hot so you can actually use your hand to help you, its so amazing, now i'm throwing away my curling iron, and i am so happy with my all in one iron. Best thing, it leaves your hair shiny and if used with the whole line of GHD of styling products, there's almost no breakage. Fantastic!!!

Fantastic product, but if you are purchasing it in canada, be warned that you will pay shipping, (29.95) plus customs of about $29.06.

I am 13 and have started high school this year, and OMG when I used all my birthday money from like 2 years to buy the straightener I AM SOOOOOOO HAPPY I was tossing up between a silver bullet or a GHD but when I realised my aunty had one and she used it on my hair definately made the decision easier I go to school everyday with beautiful hair that is NOT heat damaged and I don't always straighten it The GHD allows me to curl and create waves as well I'm never going back to my old hair straightener (WAHL Cutek) My other one was good but You might as well say I used a 20 dollar hair straightener compared to the GHD I reccomend to all, As for the FOLICA service I cannot comment as I only bought mine from a store but judging from the other reviews It sounds like pretty good postage & quality xD
I have this flat tron!

I recently just bought the GHD model from a local salon here. My hair is natural curly and frizzy but when I use this iron it makes it look smooth and soft! If you are going to buy a good flat iron do not buy a cheap one, they are a waste of money and is dry heat. You need something with steamed heat..and this GHD is awesome!
best flat iron for curly hair

I have bought many flat irons in the past ranging from 20-50 dollars. I was so fed up with the amount of time it took me to make my curly hair straight using those irons and it was still frizzy. I decided to go all out and buy the GHB iron. A hairstylist recommended it to me. I LOVE IT!!! It takes about 10 mintues to do all of my hair where it took like 40 mintues to do it with the other irons and it looks 100% better using the GHB. I would recommend this flat iron to everyone! Thanks! :)
Amazing - keeps tips from looking frizzed out

Omg! I absolutely love this flat iron! It was my first expensive iron. It REALLY gets your hair straight. Even my tips, which were extremely fried, were flat and smooth. All of my hair is very smooth! My hair has a lot of movement. It will cause your hair to be flat, but if you tease your hair, you'll be fine. It's a lot better than the store brand flat irons, and I recommend it to anyone!
Love product

I loved this product, however for the amount of money I paid in shipping I received my GHD late. I thought the price was good, but shipping was horrible. I love this GHD, I had a CHI but the GHD is way better because of temp., heat up time and it's tiny size. Recommend over the CHI.
love it!

It bothers me that people have so many negitve things to say about a wonderful flat iron. If you take care of it properly & seriously learn how to use it correctly you might not be so disappointed! One would think it doesnt take a Scientist to flat iron hair but there IS a Science to doing it correctly! Call it what you want-but do it right & you might not have so much to say!
Best Straightener I've Found!

I've tried all the big names. I had a Chi for 3 years, then moved to London and had to get a UK straightener. I went for GHD because of its reputation and I'm very glad I did. I've been using it for almost 4 years and it's still works perfectly, just as good as my Chi did. I have very fine hair with loads of frizz that has been highlighted and color treated. This tames it without causing any noticable damage. I recently tried buying a Sedu iron to keep at my parent's place in the States for when I visit and returned it promptly. Compared to Chi and GHD the quality and workmanship was cheap and shoddy looking. The plates didn't lay flat against each other making it impossible to get a decent straightening. I would definitely recommend the GHD as the best of these three top seling brands.
