Loved the quality and longevity of the curls!

I bought this item based on the excellent reviews and I was NOT disappointed. The hairsetter steams up quickly and heats the rollers fast without burning fingers. After only 20 minutes in my hair (soft, natural, African-American hair previously flat-ironed); I had AMAZING, soft, tight curls. They lasted 3 days- two days of which, it was humid and raining.
Can't be bested!

I have naturally wavy fine hair, prone to frizz and explodes in volume when rainy or high humidity. Just 5 minutes in Caruso curlers and my hair has soft curls that last a couple days, until the next wash. I have used the same curler for over 25 Years!, replacing the rollers 3 times, and now ordering more. I cannot reccomment another product for similar results. I love it.
Short Life Span

I have been using the Caruso curlers for about 10 years. I love how my hair looks and feels. They are the only curlers that work for me since I have very straight, fine and thining hair. The only problem is that they stop working after only 6 months to a year. I have bought so many units that the last time the set broke my husband threw up his hands and said "No More!!" We are on a fixed income and the expense of constently replacing my curlers was getting to be too much. Now I'm miserable with my hair and spend way too much time trying to use a curling iron so I don't look like something the cat brought in. My hair now looks fried, dry and is brittle. Wish I had my Caruso back.
most complainers didn't read the booklet

I don't mean to be cruel, but many of the complaints hear could be solved by reading the booklet that comes with the product completely. My hair is midway down my back and thick and I don't have the problem of which many people are complaining. If you have thick and / or long hair, you have to work very small sections and you can't simply roll up from the bottom, or you will have curls at the bottom of you hair only. The booklet describes "wrapping" techniques and what I have found to work best for my longish, thickish, wavy hair, a combination of wrapping and rolling. This is my second Caruso, not because my first died, but because it was lost in a move. I am useless with a curling iron, blow dryer or other rollers, but get fantastic results with these. If you are not happy with the results you get, try a different technique! They are a very flexible tool.

I love Caruso! This is the best curling system that I have ever tried. Steam curling is much safer and kinder than a curling iron on my thin hair. I only need to leave the rollers in for a few minutes while I put on my make up, no more discomfort by sleeping in velcro rollers! I wish that they would sell the travel size with ionic steam. I love that all 5 sizes come with it, but I only want the large size. The 6 rollers is not enough. I'd love to trade someone with my unused petite and small rollers...

OK...let me start by saying I have NEVER written a review in my life and felt compelled to do so do to the AMAZING product that this is. I have tried EVERY roller, curler, iron etc. that you can think of and none came even close to what this product did for me. It is simply AMAZZZINNNNNNNNGGGG!!
QUALITY OF PRODUCT

I have two Caruso Curler Machines... I think I have had them for more than 8 years. My hair is very fine and thin. It can't handle a lot of stress... This machine is the only thing that can curl my hair. If you twist your hair and then roll them on the small rollers it makes spiral curls otherwise use the larger rollers for bounce and body. It takes less than 10 minutes to do my whole head and the curls last until I wash my hair again. It's an excellent investment.
Great When It Works

I've had three of this product in the last 2 years. When they work, they are fantastic.....when my hair is short or long.....but thanks to reviewer Kat, my husband took this last one apart (just before I threw it out!) and scraped it off, and Whoo Hoo!!!!!! it works again like when it was new. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm ordering a new unit to have in reserve (without rollers since I have three sets of them now!!) but it looks like this is going to work. I only have to leave them in my hair (short again now) for about 10 minutes and I have curls for days and hair that is shiny, soft and healthy.
BEST rollers I have ever used

Used one set for years now I am on the second. The rollers basically wasted away after a several years of use by me and my Mom. Hair was always shiney and undamaged. I tried to use regular hot rollers and will go back to using the caruso. I have very long thick course hair. The Caruso makes my hair look like a hair commercial. The smell eminating from the steamer, the previous person complained about, is probably just the minerals in the water.I never noticed a foul odor with mine.
Good for my kinky hair
Reviewer: Arien from

I have African American/White hair and lots of it! Really, really curly and kinky. I watched a demo of this product on You Tube and purchased it from this sight. I was hopeful but did not expect it to turn out so great. I twisted each strand before rolling it and it turned out beautiful. My hair looked kind of like a wig the curls were so tight and crisp. After breaking apart the curls and lightly combing through it, it was perfect. I spraid it with hair spray (a lot) and it lasted three days. Didn't take long either. I recomend this product. Good luck. I might post a picture next time I take one.
