I have extremely curly hair and have tried plenty of flat irons of wich I have liked I presently own the sedu revolution and amika as well but this one is my fave by far I must admit that I am very happy and my search for the perfect flat iron is over the only thing I wasn't happy about was that it didn't come with a storage pouch other than that I'm very pleased

My hair is colored brown because it is totally gray, therefore it is coarse, but also thick. I have to color it about every two weeks and I straighten it everyday...so it is damaged a lot of the time. I have tried the Sedu and liked it but it has stopped working both times in less than a year, so I went back to the Chi. At Christmas time my Chi quit and someone demenstrated a Cortex at a mall I was at, so I got one of those. I thought I liked it until I kept noticing the smell of burnt hair all the time (not a good smell). My cousin got a croc and loved it. I went on the web site and read the reviews and decided to try the infared croc. I Love it! It straightens perfectly and there is no burnt hair smell, nor have I noticed any damaging effects. I would highly recommend this product.

I have used to Croc 2 1 inch wet-dry hair iron several times and loved it. My hair is very long and quite damaged due to flat irons. I ordered this Infrared Croc 2 1 inch and I have never been happier. It works good without the Infrared lights, but when you turn the lights on, you see a change in your hair quality immediately. It becomes so silky like a baby's hair. It's incredible. People who say it burned their hair probably had damp hair OR used products before Ironing when the directions specifically say DO NOT use products on your hair before Ironing. And ofcourse if you have it on 450 degrees your hair iron will cause steam NOT SMOKE while ironing your hair. It's common sense people. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

I'm African American with natural hair. I have hair that is 4a/4b/3c (yea it looks crazy) and this flat ironed worked on ALL THREE types of my hair. I flat ironed my hair, rolled sections into ropes and pinned it up. When I took it down my hair was wavy, shiny and silky. My hair not only looks silky but it FEELS soft and silky. I didn't experience hair loss as with other flat irons. To keep my hair moist after flat ironing it I use a little coconut oil. Tip: to turn on the infrared you have to push the power button once after turning the flat iron on.
I might never see my curly hair again!

This iron was everything the reviews has said it to be! Super hot and super fast! I have been straightening my hair since I was 14 by ways of chemicals and heat but now I can do less damage with just this baby, I can even let my hair dry curly and I don't need to blow it straight and THEN iron. I have Puerto Rican curls, just so there's a comparison. Haha. I just air dry and Iron and its great. Definitely recommend, I hope to test our their blow dryers and hope they have the same effect!

When i first tried it, I didnt turn on the infrared setting, I just started using it and I thought it was pretty good. I thought it was as good as my Sedu but not necessarily better. When I turned on the infrared setting I was AMAZED at how perfect it made my hair. It glides through my hair and leaves it SO shiny. Its definitely the best iron I have ever owned.

I never write reviews but this time I think I need to write something about this wonderful flat iron. After reading a lot of different reviews for it and doing my extensive research (like I always do) I decided to give this iron a shot..I gotta tell you that when I tried it I was amazed by the outcome I got...My hair is extremely shiny and soft. I have to tell you I have the FHI and the Sedu which I think is a great iron also, but this one gives the hair such softness and shine that I wish everyone could get one!!!

I love this straigthening iron it is the best by far. I have really thick and frizzy hair with this flat iron I just have to run it through my hair once and it makes it perfectly straight! Other flat irons that I have used I normally have to run my hair through it 2 or 3 times. I highly recommend the Croc 2 Infrared. This is also awesome because it is the first "green" straightening iron!

I usually do not write reviews but after reading all the ones for other products and in the end not really being that great Everyone should know about this one. I got the Solia and returned it(rated the best) it burn my hair and did not make it that straight just poofy gave my hair split ends. My hair dresser told me about croc. I wasn't sure about the "infrared" and the plates as there is no real information about it. I have dyed blond curly hair that will frizz. there are 3 diff plates I thought maybe the titanium plate would burn my hair, plus the 1'' looked a bit small. I put the heat on 330. my hair has never been straighter shinier or softer. It took me less time and the tips do not even look split from the heat. Best flat Iron I have ever used. You will not be sorry.

I just can't tell enough good things about my Croc. It's amazing. I have biracial, curly, frizzy, coarse hair. This iron makes it incredibly straight and gives hair incredible shine, unlike any other expensive flat iron I have used. This is a superior flat iron. I am surprised enough people don't know about it. I'm officially spoiled.
