This is one of my favourite hair care products. I use it daily after I shower and it makes my hair smooth and soft. I also use it before I use my flat iron and afterwards to cure any flyaways. I have long, thicker, normal hair with a natural wave and I don't find that this product weighs down my hair at all. My mom, however, has hair slightly below her chin which is fine in texture, and she finds that Biosilk weighs down her hair and makes it feel greasy. My ends do tend to dry out and this product makes them shiny and sleek and minimizes the appearance of breakage. I don't find I have any problems with the smell - I like it and much prefer it to Farouk's other silk infusion product by Chi (which smells like men's cologne). I think it's important for people to remember to shake it before use, and this may ease any of the unpleasant alcohol smell some reviewers complain about. I also find that this is great for particularly dry skin every once in awhile as an extra treat. The only thing I am slightly apprehensive about is that there is alcohol in the product, but truth-be-told I don't know enough about alcohol's purpose in the composition of haircare products like this, and I have seen no negative effects on my hair thus far. Then again, I do have a problem with my ends splitting - but my hair is fairly long and it could be any number of things such as heat styling, putting my hair up frequently, or some various other products I use.

i was introduce to this product by my hair dresser.. she told me some "tv" shiny secrets, and this was one of them.. she ask me to give it a try and i did.. i just LOVE IT!!.. THIS is one of the stuff my hair cant live without, even my mom got hooked up with this lol!! and the smell is just amazing!!! =)) <3 biosilk!

I've read all the reviews about BioSilk and decided to give it a try. I have a real problem with morning moisture & humidity, my hair can be fine when I leave the house but by time a get to work my hair is a mess. I've tried all the products in the store for anti-frizz and they didn't work. I tried the CHI Silk Infusion, it's really good for me when I flat-iron but not for frizz and flyaways. Don't get me wrong I love my CHI Silk Infusion but I really love my BioSilk. I've been using BioSilk for a couple of days and the results are great. When I leave the house I have nothing to worry about because my hair looks great. NOTE - good for african american hair.

I have used so many products over the years for my hair. You name it; I have probably used it. I have very fine, wavy hair that I dye every so often. It's not too bad off but I am sure that my hair has seen better days. Back when I was in highschool my friend got her haircut one day and the stylist put biosilk on her hair. I tried some and I was speechless at the difference it makes. It made our hair so soft, so silky and it smelled so good! It makes my hair nearly frizzless and I am not sweating bullets if it rains anymore. I have forgotten it before and it's an emergency to go get it! I have used this product for about 10 years now and I am still not changing to anything else. This will stay a part of my beauty regime for a long time. I recommend this product to anyone who wants SOFT, SILKY, SHINY, SMELLS great hair!

Biosilk is really worth spending your money on. It makes your hair silky and shiny and all I need is a squeeze of less than a dime size. (Hair length is to my elbows.) Great for people who use hot tools on their hair, so please definately look into this. I really love it!!

I have had this product for well over a year and still haven't made a dent in it. I used to use it more but now I use it less often. It is great, I just put a dab in my hair after straightening if it needs it and my hair looks great. My hair is really curly and often really frizzy and poofy. When I got it I purchased the biggest bottle because it came with a trail size. I have only used the trail size. You don't need much for results!

BioSilk has to be the best product for hair. It makes hair shiny, smooth, and soft. I love BioSilk over any other brand. It might be a little costly, but it goes a long way and is definetly worth it! You will be impressed especially if you have frizzy, dry hair. It is also good for protecting hair from split ends. I use it right before i straighten my hair to protect it from flat-iron damage.

I'm a guy with short wavy (It's not too curly, but there are waves) hair. It is ugly. I have frizzy, dry hair. I shampoo every other day (Shampooing every day is not good for your hair) and condition it every day. It feels all smooth and silky when I'm still in the shower, but once I step out and towel-dry my hair for a bit, it's back to frizzy and dry. After a while my sister got some BioSilk and only uses it when she straightens her hair (Her hair is also somewhat wavy). So I got a drop of BioSilk and rubbed it through my hair. After that I tried straightened my hair. Usually when I straighten my hair it leaves this burning ceramic smell that smells foul and nauseating. But I put on some BioSilk and the scent covered the burning smell. My hair is currently smooth and not as dry and frizzy now. Great results, I recommend this product.

I used a lot of different kinds of serums beacuse my hair is thin and it tangles, looses shape and "freezes" really quickly. This is the first product so far that did not weight my hair down - very essential for my thin hair so it would not look greasy and dirty. And i loooove the smell! :) Also, even when applied on palms and rubbed on the hair, nothing stays on my hands - before i had to wash them and wipe them with tissue cause my hands were so greasy from the serums i used. I am using Silk Therapy with flat iron and results are just amazing - the hair is not greasy and smells really good! I do not find the cost to be excessive - you basically need only pea-sized amount for the whole head and even small-sized bottle will last you forever. But the quality so much better than others :)
