Best Investment Ever!

So I used to use a cheap Wal-Mart straightener that snagged my hair all the time and didn't even get it as straight as I like. Then an hour later it would get little waves in it. It also damaged my hair like crazy. My hair is of average thickness, long, and wavy (the kinky kind of waves, not the super flowy kind). It shouldn't be too hard to straighten, yet it was. I finally decided to invest in a good straightener and I saw all the fantastic reviews for the Sedu. Well, it really does work as well as it says! It makes my hair sooo shiny and doesn't snag it, and it also eliminates frizz. It cut my straightening time in half as well. I love it so much and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a top-of-the-line straightener. :D I live in humid Houston and it lasts all day and make my hair really soft. _ P.S. The top picture is without a straightener (except for the bangs, those are straightened) and the bottom picture is after using the Sedu.

I needed a new straightener cuz my other one was about 6 yrs old and wasn't cutting it anymore. I found this one and got it. I read the reviews and I was hoping it would work like everyone said and it works better! i have coarse curly with a wave thick hair and i live in michigan where the humidity sucks! This straightener kept my hair straight and cut my straightening time in half! I'm now looking at the sedu blow dryers :) and my hair even feels healthier!

So as you can see, it straightens very well. Can't see the length in the after, but using the Sedu trust me it more than doubles when it's straight versus when it's curly. I've tried CHI (hello?! I need a heat dial), Wigo, and some expensive ion flat iron. Returned them all after just the first use. If you are going to pay the money, you need the results and they should be instant. I have super spiral curls and I get my hair done with this Sedu in 20-30 minutes. The only thing I don't like about this is that it has 1 and 1/2 inch plates. I like a bit smaller so I can really flatten at the roots. No problem though! Gave this baby to my sister for her b-day (she was ECSTATIC) and ordered myself a 1 inch. I had it for 1.5 years before giving it to her and it still looks and works like new! Heats up in literally no time at all. Love love LOVE the Sedu.

I bought this a week ago, and for the first time ever, now i can make my super curly shoulder- long hair straight in about 10 minutes at home! The photo shows results afer 10 mins - if i took a little more time, I am sure the difference would be more dramatic. The tourmaline plates do make a big difference - my old flat iron by Solia was purchased almost 8 years ago and did a nice job. But it did dry out my hair, so i used it rarely. This one works faster, is more effective, and leaves my hair feeling far shinier and softer than the old one ever did. So the upgrade was well worth it.

I bought this December of 07 and I love it. =) I was really nervous at first because it was my first straightener, and I was unsure on spending such a large amount.. especially after reading some of the negative feedback about how it died in just a few months.. It's nearly September of '08 and it's still working as new. =) I have thick hair and it takes me about.. maybe 10 minutes to straighten my hair, 15 at the most which is rare. =]

All I can say is that I have bought MANY flat irons, but not one of them can top the Sedu! It's the best of the best!!!!! Worth every penny!!!!

I love this flat iron!!! This is the third iron I have owned and by far the best. It is very lightweight and the perfect width (1 1/2) since my hair is past shoulder length. It heats very quickly and glides so smoothly through my hair. It only took minutes to have perfect straight hair. The shipping was also awesome - only two days to receive it!

The reason why I bought this straightener was because of all the great reviews so now I'm leaving one. Dont think twice about it, buy it! It's worth every penny!!!

I have been straightening my hair for 7 years. I've tried about EVERYTHING. From those cheap straighteners at Walmart to Chi's. I thought Chi was the best until a year passed and it died. I did my research and asked for the Sedu for Christmas. When I tried it out, it was soo much better than the Chi. It felt really cheap but when I used it, it was great! It's so much lighter then the Chi and therefor makes it easier to straighten my hair. My hair is VERY thick and curly and takes 1 hour to straighten with the Sedu. The Chi took 2 1/2 hours.
