i had dyed my hair a dark brown, that turned out black, but eventually faded into the color on the box, which was still to dark for me. its been a couple months, and i've tried almost everything! i washed with prell shampoo, etc etc. i looked up ways to get it out, and found several different hair color removal kits. i chose this one, and it worked AWESOME! i was skeptical on if it was going to work or not, and i'd have to just wait and grow it out. but no, 20 minutes later i was back to the color i wanted! it worked after months of having the dye in, and trying to redye my hair! i recommend this for anybody with dark hair! or any color hair even!
What I Expected...

I have been dying my hair pitch black for a couple of years. I wanted to go to my natural color, which is a light neutral brown. I knew that because my hair is black, it would not automatically lighten to the color I needed. I did two separate treatments, using almost all of the product. The fault actually turned out pretty cool. The ends of my hair did not lighten as much as the rest, but having the darker ends with a layered and stacked haircut is pretty awesome. The color it turned out is beautiful anyway, so I am happy with the way it looks, even if I didn't match my roots. But, I have to figure something out eventually because my roots are a lighter brown, with hardly no red. I will probably just use the system again later. I am pleased with the results, and it is exactly what I expected from reading the reviews. OH, and my hair is healthier feeling now than it was before I did it!!!

I had dyed my hair black and it was starting to grow out, i had two options, dye it again, or try to remove the black all together. Decided on the latter obviously. I figured if it didn't all come out or i didn't like it i could just go black again, so nothing to loose right? Wasn't too optimistic when i bought it, i've dyed my hair so many colors over the past 4-5 years. I've used permanent and semipermanent hair dye but it removed everything. I've been growing my hair out for a year and a half after an awful hair cut and i was ready to go natural. This was amazing. I am so happy with the results, it is practically my natural color, a tiny bit orange but i like it, i kind of look like a natural red hed. I got my natural highlights back! I didn't use the processing lotion, and i was applying heat the whole time just to be sure it would work. This product is completely worth the money and is really easy to use, just make sure you buy gloves, something to mix it with, a container to mix it in, and a hair net because it does not come with these things. I am VERY pleased and will use this again (i love changing my hair color, i have not learned my lesson :P)
One n' Only Colorfix - Truly a Godsend!

I just recently highlighted my hair that was already highlighted, lowlighted, middlelighted and every kind of lighted in between. The results were no highlights anywhere expect ont he very top of my head all the way to my scalp that were as yellow as mustard. I struggled with the bright do for no longer than a day before I decided to do something about it. I called all professional places which were open on this Sunday and most didn't do coloring on Sundays. The ones that did were booked until later that week. Being a teacher at a private school, I needed to do a very quick and workable fix before Monday. I found One n' Only through a Google search on color correction and read every single review. I saw plenty of rave reviews for hair correction from dark to light, but nothing to get rid of bright blonde highlights going to darker ash blonde. I didn't care at that point, I figured I'd call in sick anyway on Monday, so I bit th bullet and purchased a box. I also bought a shade as close to my natural color as I could remember. I mixed the entire bottles of Step 1 or 2 together (because my hair was layered and about 2 inches past my shoulders). I used every drop of the mixture. I just put on my rubber cleaning gloves and mixed the solution into my hair with my hands making sure I saturated my hair like I was shampooing. I slipped a plastic bag over my hair and used the hair dryer on low heat every 5 minutes keeping the bag warm. I watched my hair get to an bright orange hue. I rinsed, shampooed, dried and slapped on the ash blonde. I did a strand test after 5 mins. and it was perfect! Everything is happy again in teacher land and I went onto work on a very happy Monday!
Its a miracle!!

I had dyed my hair a bright fake red; don't ask me why...I hated it the next morning. I am dishwater blonde to begin with and was trying to cover gray before a vacation. I used colorfix for only 10 minutes, and I became a nice shade of blonde on top with some nice strawberry blonde left on the ends. I love it!!! This product is amazing.
THIS STUFF IS GREAT!!!

Long story short, I died my hair Bigen perminant Dark Brown, which turn out Jet Black, used this 2oz of 1, and 2oz of 2 and 2 1/2 oz of Herbal Essance Moisturizing Shampoo, and I used 3, which made my roots natural color instead of the brassy color people are getting from not using. My hair is now a beautiful Mahogony Brown. You have to try this...
Can 't Beat this...

I dyed my (naturally brown) hair jet black for the Winter; although I was pleased with the results, as the weather got warmer and with root touch ups needed every 3 weeks, it was just too dark to manage. I then discovered that black hair is very hard to re-dye (uh-oh!). Resolved to being stuck with the black until it grew out, I happened to discover Colorfix on the web. I live in the UK where it isn't available, but I was so impressed by the reviews I took a gamble and bought some. It arrived in just a few days (thanks Folica!) and I did a strand test straight away - after just 20 mins I couldn't believe it, there was my old natural brown hair and no sign of the black! The product does smell a bit, true, but it's really no worse than any other dye or perm out there, and the smell does wash off well. Plus it’s very easy to mix and apply and you don’t need very much. I took the plunge and applied the product as directed (the 'full strength' way). I have a small confession here: I started with the top layers and I forgot that this would be on longest (also I got a bit distracted so it was on around 30 mins in the end!). When I rinsed my hair, the underneath was perfect - back to brown. However, the top layers had turned very auburn/red (I do have this colour naturally in my hair so it wasn't too much of a surprise and this was my fault for leaving it on too long on the top). I thought about dyeing over this, but decided it was a happy accident and left it, and now I'm really pleased with my hair and it couldn't have turned out better. It's nearly 2 months since I did the Colorfix and the red has subsided considerably (unfortunately!) but I'm now almost back to my old brown hair colour. My hair is just as shiny and strong and there’s no visible root growth at all. I would definitely recommend this product if you have unwanted dyed black hair, and Folica’s service was first class.
Love it

I have died my hair over and over again and I was already at the point where I thought I would have to cut all my hair off when I tried this product. Not only it really did take out all the color out of my hair, it left my hair light and soft and definitely less damaged. The color came out very nice, and I didn't even have to color it. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!
Awesome product

I have used this product many times before to get out very dark colors from my hair. Most recently I used it on my dark brown hair and it turned it to a light strawberry blonde color after only one process. I've noticed, reading some of these reviews, that people re-color their hair shortly after using the Color Fix product and have come out with black hair (in general). You must realize that this product leaves your pores open so they take color in and absorb it quickly which means your hair will color darker than your intentions. I would use a protein filler before you re-color your hair or atleast wait a couple of weeks or if you cannot wait, choose a color that is atleast 1-2 shades LIGHTER than the color you have in mind.
