I had dyed my hair black and it was starting to grow out, i had two options, dye it again, or try to remove the black all together. Decided on the latter obviously. I figured if it didn't all come out or i didn't like it i could just go black again, so nothing to loose right? Wasn't too optimistic when i bought it, i've dyed my hair so many colors over the past 4-5 years. I've used permanent and semipermanent hair dye but it removed everything. I've been growing my hair out for a year and a half after an awful hair cut and i was ready to go natural. This was amazing. I am so happy with the results, it is practically my natural color, a tiny bit orange but i like it, i kind of look like a natural red hed. I got my natural highlights back! I didn't use the processing lotion, and i was applying heat the whole time just to be sure it would work. This product is completely worth the money and is really easy to use, just make sure you buy gloves, something to mix it with, a container to mix it in, and a hair net because it does not come with these things. I am VERY pleased and will use this again (i love changing my hair color, i have not learned my lesson :P)

I just recently highlighted my hair that was already highlighted, lowlighted, middlelighted and every kind of lighted in between. The results were no highlights anywhere expect ont he very top of my head all the way to my scalp that were as yellow as mustard. I struggled with the bright do for no longer than a day before I decided to do something about it. I called all professional places which were open on this Sunday and most didn't do coloring on Sundays. The ones that did were booked until later that week. Being a teacher at a private school, I needed to do a very quick and workable fix before Monday. I found One n' Only through a Google search on color correction and read every single review. I saw plenty of rave reviews for hair correction from dark to light, but nothing to get rid of bright blonde highlights going to darker ash blonde. I didn't care at that point, I figured I'd call in sick anyway on Monday, so I bit th bullet and purchased a box. I also bought a shade as close to my natural color as I could remember. I mixed the entire bottles of Step 1 or 2 together (because my hair was layered and about 2 inches past my shoulders). I used every drop of the mixture. I just put on my rubber cleaning gloves and mixed the solution into my hair with my hands making sure I saturated my hair like I was shampooing. I slipped a plastic bag over my hair and used the hair dryer on low heat every 5 minutes keeping the bag warm. I watched my hair get to an bright orange hue. I rinsed, shampooed, dried and slapped on the ash blonde. I did a strand test after 5 mins. and it was perfect! Everything is happy again in teacher land and I went onto work on a very happy Monday!

I had dyed my hair a bright fake red; don't ask me why...I hated it the next morning. I am dishwater blonde to begin with and was trying to cover gray before a vacation. I used colorfix for only 10 minutes, and I became a nice shade of blonde on top with some nice strawberry blonde left on the ends. I love it!!! This product is amazing.

Long story short, I died my hair Bigen perminant Dark Brown, which turn out Jet Black, used this 2oz of 1, and 2oz of 2 and 2 1/2 oz of Herbal Essance Moisturizing Shampoo, and I used 3, which made my roots natural color instead of the brassy color people are getting from not using. My hair is now a beautiful Mahogony Brown. You have to try this...

I have died my hair over and over again and I was already at the point where I thought I would have to cut all my hair off when I tried this product. Not only it really did take out all the color out of my hair, it left my hair light and soft and definitely less damaged. The color came out very nice, and I didn't even have to color it. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

I have used this product many times before to get out very dark colors from my hair. Most recently I used it on my dark brown hair and it turned it to a light strawberry blonde color after only one process. I've noticed, reading some of these reviews, that people re-color their hair shortly after using the Color Fix product and have come out with black hair (in general). You must realize that this product leaves your pores open so they take color in and absorb it quickly which means your hair will color darker than your intentions. I would use a protein filler before you re-color your hair or atleast wait a couple of weeks or if you cannot wait, choose a color that is atleast 1-2 shades LIGHTER than the color you have in mind.

I've been coloring my fringe, for a while, a semi-permanent crimson. Unfortunately, my hair soaked up the red and would not go back to the (bleach) blonde underneath, staying a washed-out pink. I tried stripping it, but no luck. I found these reviews, talked to the woman at Sally's, and voila! My fringe is blonde again. Yay! I did the full color correction, applied heat constantly for about six or seven minutes, conditioned well, and my hair doesn't feel fried. I still have plenty left and will keep it handy in case the violet I'm about to attempt turns out badly.

I had been dying my hair black for 6 years, and red for 4 years before that. My natural hair color is dirty blonde and I just had a baby so I wanted to go back to blonde so our hair colors would match. First I bought 2 of the Loreal hair color remover kits and used those. They made my hair dry and brittle, and removed some of the color, but left my hair like 50 different shades from bleach blonde to dark brownish-red. Then I read a review online about the One-n-only Colorfix product and decided to buy it, mostly because there are multiple uses in one box. It totally evened out all of the colors and made it all a light strawberry blonde. I'm still going to dye it to make it less red, but I would definitely recommend it to everyone. The only issue I had with it was the smell. It made me very nauseous so make sure when you use this product you use it in a well ventilated area.

OMG!!! Please use this. I had done my hair soft black only to soon realize that I looked terrible. I'm a light hispanic, so I assumed it would look nice. Wrong! So for a month I looked and searched for something other than bleach, since my hair is not long enough to cut out the damage. I found this and bought it instantly. It definitely took the black out, now my hair is redish brownish but better than black. So now I'm in the process of doing it plain brown.

I tend to dye my hair a lot. For a while, I was a light brown with blonde highlights but then, the winter season came along and, since I was working at the cosmetics section of Dillard's, I fell into the awful "Black Hair" fashion. I kept it up but after a while, my tan disappeared and I was back in my high school freshman gothic days (I'm now a college sophomore). I just wanted my old light brown color back so I tried to die over it but no! I was now a halloween nightmare of orange and black spots!!! I went to the salon and spent $112 dollars (that's with a discount) to try and even out the tone. After stripping it and dying over, it still looked the same. So, I got this colorfix stuff and prayed to God it wouldn't make my hair fall out. My hair came out beautiful!!! It was kind of orange-y but I was very fond of it. I dyed over it anyway to even out the color but this time, I used the 28-washes Natural Instincts dye. My hair is back to natural and I'm going to stick with Clairol. PS - I went to several stylists and they all told me I'd have to wait for the black to grow out. Bull Shit. Instead of paying someone $250 to screw up your hair, spend $20 on this box to fix it.
