Hi my name is KelseY i was in my localMall when igot my hair straightened ,and i thought omg this will never work on my wavy hair it did !! and that was yesterday..its still stuck straight IM BUYING IT ON THIS WEBSITE I HOPE!!

Regardless of what anyone says, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZING STRAIGHTENER/ CURLER EVER!!!! I have had mine for over 2 years and it is GREAT! I bought mine in Toronto, Canada and the girls at the booth sho sold it to me were really nice!!! If you have had trouble, you should go and get it exchanged. For those of you who want a refund after you have caused the straightener damage, you can hardly expect the person at the stands whom you bought it from to do anything. It clearly says on the product that it is final and that there is a ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER's WARRANTY. Read ANY hair straightener warranty slip and it will say the same. No place EVER covers physical damage. If you are too stupid to know how to handle and properly place away a hair straightener, you should have never purchased one in the first place. THESE ARE PROFESSIONAL IRONS. Most CHI models are not even pure ceramic! CORTEX ARE 100% solid ceramic plates. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BEST BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENER, and if used properly will last and last!

I actually bought this hair straightner about 3 days ago, I searched around online and on Folica.com to see the reviews people have said about this straightner. I went to the mall recently and purchased the Cortex straightner, and I have to say that this is one of the BEST straightners I've ever had. I've been straightning my hair for over 7 years, so I have been through a bunch of straightners. Please dont get tricked into buying the Cortex straightners at the mall, because they sell them for $110.00. At first when I saw them promoting this straightner, I sat down and let them show me how and what it did, it was ok but i thought that it was WAYYY to expensive. I have to say that out of all the straightners Ive tried this is really the best! I have thick, long curly hair, and it really is a struggle to straighten. A bonus about this straightner is that it can flip, straightin,curl, and make waves. For my type of hair this is amazing I would warn getting this straightner for very thin hair because it might damage ur hair for girls with thick-ish hair or normal hair, I would recommend it!

I have very unruly hair and after using this tool it is smooth and silky. I truly can't believe it. I am 49 years old and to think I can actually have straight hair after all these years truly amazes me. I highly recommend.

I first saw this straightner at one of the kiosks in the local mall. I was approached by a smooth talking rep who wanted to straighten a section of my hair to show me how wonderful this product truly was. I let him straighten a few sections of my hair. I have coarse ethnic hair which is not the easiest to straighten but it looked wonderful and felt super soft. Then he hit me with the price: $189.00. I almost fainted!!! He proceeded to lower the price. I got him down to $129.00, then it hit me. If he's willing to drop the price this low, then I need to research this tool on the internet to ensure that I'm not getting ripped off. I rushed home and researched different websites but found the folica.com website to have the best value for the same Cortex Professional Ceramic Straightener for only $59.99 (free shipping). I'm very glad that I took the time to research this before giving in to sales pressure. I love my Cortez immensely. Thanks folica.com for having the best price on the market.

omg this thing is soooo amazing it works so good.....ok so my hair is really poofy and frizzy and once i used this staightener it made it silky and straight!!!

I was at the mall today and a person straightened and curled part of my hair with this product. When i feel the strip she straighen and the rest of my hair is is so soft, and silky. It is still straight after the whole day.

I got my Pink one at the Mall in Fl. I too paid 110 dollars for mine. I did get a Brush and some kind of hair cream with mine. well they told me it had a lifetime warranty and i could get it replaced. Well now they won't replace it. Look at photos to see what mine did. I could have gotten seriously hurt. Angie Cree
