I'm an amateur body builder (guy)--and I got to say I think this thing is fantastic. It works SUPER fast, pulls the hair out without breaking it and causing stubble. Takes a little getting used to, especially in sensitive areas, but I use it all over, and the results are great. One tip--you can buy a cream that numbs the area you are working on--I recommend anything with Benzocaine in it (lanacaine, shave zone) But this little tool is pretty amazing.

I purchased this product as a "back up" to my customary waxing (everything from eyebrows down to my toes -- no joke) which I have done for YEARS. I was ENORMOUSLY pleased with this product; it was easy to use, the hair did not have to grow too long for the product to be used, and it performed beautifully -- ONE DOES NOT NEED TO BE A ROCKET SCIENTIST to use it properly and get GREAT results. VERY, VERY, VERY PLEASED! I may even forget about spending all that money on waxing in the future. Try it you'll be delighted. Truly.

I'm the type who develops a 5 o'clock shadow on my legs a day after shaving and it really bothered me. Laser is too expensive. I tried waxing with Moom and it was great, results lasted for weeks, but it was messy and took hours. With this, it took me so much less and it does hurt, but just like waxing, in beginning. The hair does grow back lighter and less course. It can be used anywhere,pretty much. The corded/cordless option is very good. You don't have to wait for hair to be same length as with waxing, and it removed every hair that I had. Yes you do have to go over an area a few times, I found the same to be with waxing. As far as using it on one's face, I don't see how one can do one's eyebrows with this, it's not suited for it. Single long hairs can be removed. So, I "Moom" my brows and "Emjoi" my body. This is my first epillator ever and I'm very pleased with it. I recommended it for my friend, and she bought it. Absolute winner with me.

This is a great product! It is uncomfortable (especially at first) but I wouldn't expect something that is designed to rip your hair out from the root to be totally painless. This is the first time I've used anything like this and I have to say I am very pleased :)

I absolutely LOVE my epilator. It is a little painful, but if you can stand the pain of getting waxed or tweezed, you can stand the pain of an epilator. Just for the info, it really reduces the pain if your hair is shorter and if you take a warm shower to open up your pores (like recommended). I definitely recommend this product!

I have the older version and have always loved it. I used the new product which belonged to a friend and it was even better! (so I am going to buy one). The pain is not bad at all - waxing is three times worse. I use this product on my face, arms and bikini lines. Its fabulous and I remain hair free for 5 weeks. If they doubled the price I would still buy it - thats how great it works. I have "never" experienced an ingrown hair or a bruse on my skin and I have been using it for years. I have experienced those things from waxing! This product is worth every cent!!!

The Emjoi Gently Gold Caress Rechargeable Hair Removal System was purchased as a gift for my sister (at her request!) She experienced excellent results the first time she used the system and is extremely satisfied with it.
The best thing next to waxing!!!! Use Circular motion so that it's not "as" painful!!

I have the older model of this machine and sadly it has died so I am looking forward to receiving this one in the mail. It IS painful but I have found that if I use a circular motion versus a straight up and down motion like they advise, the pain is not as bad. I LOOOOVE the fact that it keeps me hair free just as long as sugaring and its WAY cheaper!! I take it with me when I go on vacation and use it when I feel a little hair poking out and it takes care of it! I DEFF recommend it!!!

This product is amazing. Before I found this product, my mom absolutely never wanted me to shave cuz she didnt want me to use a razor. But, when I showed her this online, she was more comfortable and decided to order it. Despite the pain during the first time you use it, its absolutely worth it. I don't have to shave as often as my friends do, and I dont mind the pain that much anymore. Very handy and convinient to use especially when you're a teenager.
