I've used other creams and this is by far the best. As long as you're careful and dont leave it on longer than instructed, you wont wind up with burns. If I start feeling any kind of pain or discomfort when using the product, I just remove it and most if not all the time, the hair is ready to come off anyways! I've experienced the burn a couple times but compared to the many many many other times that it worked just fine, it's so worth it. I love this product and have used it for about 7 years now and would be completely lost with out it!

if you follow directions exactly.. not even leave it for for a second more.. it works great! make sure you put the finishing balm on.. or else your skin gets sooo irritated.. this was the only stuff i could use that doesn't irritate my skin... i love it.. soo worth the price :) i'm literally allergic to everything but this stuff

after trying other creams surgi cream is the most gentle I've ever used!Have used for several years now on my extremely sensitive skin. When used as directed it leaves my face smooth and hair free. Doesn't burn or cause any irritation.I would recommend to anyone using a cream hair remover.

this stuff worked really good.. i loved it. as do exactly as the directions say.. 1 minute over and you will result in a burn.. and if you don't use the moisturizer.. then yeah you'll have bumps.. but the 2nd time.. i did exactly and it worked wonders :)

I never have problems with this product. I suggest not using it after cleansing your face, but before... that way the oils that have been produced that day protect your skin. Also, exceeding the time will result in a burn... so it's best to follow the directions precisely.

Since this is my first time using a depilatory on my face, I give it 4 stars. Otherwise I would definitely give it 5 stars. It's completely painless and everyone knows I'm a big baby. This product definitely works. I did the test patch and it worked well on me. I have verrrry sensitive skin and it didn't irritate me at all. It even smelled nice. Well, I'll be buying this from now on!
Great for facial hair...but

I have been using this product for years. It works great at hair removal for my chin an upper lip, but I have to use nearly everyday because my hair growns very quickly. If you leave on for the recommended time, you can get most of the hair off, but thick, coarse hairs will still need to be plucked. I have tried other cream hair removers, this is by far the best. Don't leave on for more than 10 minutes and use soothing balm to prevent irritation.

It removes most of my facial hair and there is no stinging. The finishing balm (included) is a great mositurizer.
