African American with an FHI!!!!!!

I am an African American female who have used numerous department store flat irons. My friend suggested the FHI because she went 4 months without a relaxer and it looked as if she had a relaxer. My 5 year old has very thick coarse hair and the FHI straightens it better and quicker than a pressing comb.My caucasian and hispanic co workers want to borrow it all the time. Another good quality is it's quick and I only go through my hair once.Definitely worth the money!!

I am so happy with this purchase. It works well and is fast! The hair doesn't seem to stick or catch at all..just glides. I notice much less breakage than with the Chi or others that I have used. The size is easy to handle and it isn't as heavy feeling as some. I'd buy it again.

I am in love with my flat iron. It leaves my hair shiny and soft, nothing like my previous iron that was allegedly ceramic also. My stylist has been using these irons for a long time, so I broke down and invested in one so that I can touch up in between visits. I am a African American female with very thick hair, and I am currently growing my relaxer out all because of the results that I have seen over the last few months of using this iron! My next purchase will be a hair dryer!!!

I bought the FHI because my salon uses it. My other flat iron never completely straightened my naturally curly hair. The FHI not only straightened my hair but kept it straight all day, and I live in GA where there is so much humidity.

The iron has 12, count them TWELVE settings. So, to the reviewer who said she burnt her hair, she must have had it on too high. Personally I put mine a little above the middle, because I have damaged hair. It does the job in one swipe. Also, a note everyone you are burning your hair every time you iron it anyway.

I love my FHI flat iron...i truly suggest it to all. its so much better than CHI. CHI is supposed to be amazing, but my hair is fine and it pulled and broke my hair. The FHI flat iron is great on my hair and leaves it so perfectly straight and silky...

I really love my FHI flat iron! It works great.I can get to my roots and get my hair straight as I want. I recommend this product to anyone. I have thick course African American hair and it works very well on my hair.

This FHI, is the best iron I have ever used. I have wavy ethnic hair and it is the only iron that truly works. I use to use a chi iron, but now its all about my FHI! Thank you Folica.com
