I am a young 40 year old female barber, I know a little something about hair... First there is nothing to be done for people that have a genaticaly screwed up head of hair, sad but true,other then implants... But there are most of us who just need the right balance of vitamins and minarels and are hair will show the benifits.These benifits like anything eles will not show up over night. Hairs "normal" growth is an average of a half an inch a month a very slow rate, so you are looking at one full year to see six inches without a trim.Some peoples hair grows faster and some slower we are all pre-genaticaly program. What I want to see is an improvement on my hairs health kinda of of oxy- moron seeings how its dead!! I have order the three months supply based on the information that is on the bottle, the ingredients. It does have the right stuff to give you healthy hair, it really does.. I would love it if it made my hair grow like a weed but I am hear for the hair health benifits..This is the first of March 2010 after my first three months I will update with the results that I have achived. I already know that I will buy it agian because of the ingrediets and I like them!!! Good luck to all and try and keep it real, nobody is going to go to bed with shoulder lenght hair and wake up like Crystal Gayle.

it takes few months for it to kick in. but it works. After years of losing hair and trying different products I finally found something to reduce the hair lost. but you have to be patient.

Well, my hair was overprocessed and was falling out at the roots. Tragic!! After using it for about 5 days, the hairloss stopped. No more shedding and hair all over the place. I will use it forever. The only thing that I didnt like, is that it made my layers grow out to fast!!!! Smile!! Good stuff. Im spreading the word.

I have used Shen Min Adv formula for women and let me tell you, it works to stop hairloss after 3 to 4 weeks time (you will notice the difference on your hands and in the drain~almost no shedding with in a month). It does also thicken your hair. I tried other less expensive products and I am going back to Shen Min Adv. Formula~my hair was definitely healthier when taking daily. I wish it got rid of the grey for me but I will settle for thicker hair. Buy 3 mos. supply and you will see a difference.
I think it's making me lose weight?!

I started taking Shen Min about a week and a half ago... I haven't seen a real difference as far as skin, hair, and nails yet...but I think it's still too soon. However, I swear to you - I have lost weight because of this pill! If you read the back of the bottle it talks about "in so many words," flushing toxins to help rid of things in the body that may enable skin/hair/nails to look its best. I am a firm believer that having toxins in the body may interfere with weight loss as well. Any ways, I have not under any circumstances altered my diet or work-out in any way and I have lost 4lbs. in a week and a half. I can't prove that this product is what's causing this, but I am menstral at the moment, and usually I gain weight during this time. I have struggled with weight my entire life, taken a million different pill, shakes...done everything, and this stuff is crazy!!! I'll keep you all up to date on if I see changes in "what it's intended for," but I thought I'd share that information to anyone who is interested in trying this product! The only other advice I have is: "EAT WITH FOOD!" The first time I took them, my stomach wasn't the happiest...but after that, taken with food...no side effects at all! Love this stuff!

I've used this product before when I lost a great deal of my hair due to stress/trauma. The loss usually occurs 3-4 months after the event(s). After taking this product for 3 months I had lots of new hair growth. Now I am taking it again and hope to see the same results in a couple months. It was worth the money for me.

SHIN MIN has worked for me. I am a 43 yrs old black female. I noticed, as i get older my hair is thinning. I started using shin min on a regular basis and i noticed my hair started growing. My beautician stated at my last visit that my hair is growing. My hair is now starting to thicken up. Everyone one may experience different results. If you are not satified, stop using the product and find something that will work for you. I am sticking with shin min.

My hair grows very, very slowly. In fact, I haven't had it cut in about 20 years but it never got more than collar length. I have tried all sorts of supplements and topical products that claim to accelerate hair growth but none of them worked. Reluctantly I decided to try Shen Min, telling myself that I was probably wasting more money on yet another worthless ripoff. Hope springs eternal, though, and I'm glad it does. Within one month I noticed about half an inch worth of growth. I figured it was probably wishful thinking, but went ahead and bought a bottle for the second month. By the end of the second month, others were starting to comment that my hair looked a little longer (I hadn't told anyone I was trying something new). Now I'm at the end of the third month and realize that this definitely isn't imaginary. I believe my hair has grown about two inches and it definitely feels heavier and is at my shoulders. I am so used to getting ripped off by products that don't work as they're advertised that I figured I needed to give a good review to one of the very few products I've ever bought that does live up to its billing.

Shen Min does work. I've been using it off and on since 2000. It grows and thickens your hair. (in my case it even makes my curly hair straighter as it grows). How you take care of your hair is a completely different story. The product does what it says and it does it extremely well!

I am 31 years old and have to admit that the only time I've experience hair loss was after the birth of all 4 of my children. With the first 3 it took about a year before the hair loss completely stopped and then my hair would start to grow back. Each time, my hair would fall out to the extreme where my scalp was sensitive to the touch; you could see the thinning areas; and my hair would clog up the tub. All my brushes would be full of hair and I'd have to sweep after every blowdry. I have been taking the the pills as directed for almost a month and have already experienced a very noticeable reduction in hair loss and regrowth in the thinning areas. I have not experienced any side effects at all. In matter of fact I expect the hair loss to completely stop within the next 2-3 months. I intend to continue to use this product even afterwards. I am very happy with this product!!
