Recently, I've been trying various curl/wave definition products, and Kerastase Nutritive Mist Oleo-Curl is my favorite. I found the Kerastase website helpful for deciding which Oleo-Curl product to use - it depends on the type of curl/wave you have, and they give illustrations of three different kinds. Because my natural waves are loose/limp without any product, I went with the mist. My overall hair strand width is fine to medium, though I do have some random darker/coarser strands as well. Mist Oleo-Curl helps create the waves I'm looking for, and holds them all day without making my hair feel stiff or sticky. My goal is to enhance the wave I have for a soft and natural look. Other products have tended to make my hair feel weighed-down or somewhat stiff, but this one leaves my hair feeling soft and swingy. Yesterday, I was running a few errands while it was lightly raining/sprinkling, and I didn't have an umbrella - my waves survived quite well. I'm not currently using any other Kerastase products, nor another curl definition product in conjunction with this one - just a diffuser on my blow dryer.
