I have used this dryer in a salon setting for over a year and I would say I dry about 10-15 heads a day. This dryer is well worth the cash. I use to use Elchim and had issues with the cords and motors breaking so this dryer came recommend from Industry Source. This little guy is light and amazingly strong with no problems to date. (By the way...looking at some of the other reviews, people don't get that with anything mechanical you can run into a dud...that is what a warrantee is for.) And if you find the darn thing for under $70 bucks with case, you got it for a steal...the seller must have priced it incorrectly.

I do not usually write reviews for products. I also do not usually pay this much for a hair dryer. I have only had it about 3 weeks and my hair feels great. I can't stop touching it because it is so soft. I haven't noticed less frizz - but my straightener takes care of that. I love the case and my hair dries in about 15 minutes as opposed to the 40 minutes it took with my last hair dryer.

I can't believe how well this dryer works. It dries my hair in half the time, and leaves it nice and smooth. Well worth the money!

I too was very skeptical in purchasing this hairdryer...mostly because of the price. I didn't know if I was doing the right thing. I've only used it for two days but I can already see improvement. Since I've blow dried my hair practically all my life (my hair is thick and wavy), I now have a section of hair where it is a bit coarse, dull and unmanageable. Well I've noticed that after using this hairdryer, that section of hair doesn't look as coarse and dull. It certainly seems like I won't be damaging my hair as much and hopefully that section of hair will improve. Note: I apply Garnier Sleek and Shine Serum before blow drying my hair. This also helps my hair stay moisturized.
fabulous on fine, curly hair

I have fine, curly hair. With high speed hair dryers it becomes fly-away. With low power hair dryers (like the regular orange Chi) the curl refuses to die. The BB Tourmaline is an expensive dryer, but not only did it cut my hair drying time in half, but the high power, low speed option solves all my past drying dillemnas. The power cord is thick and seems to take wear and tear well. I recommend skipping the budget versions, which won't work as well anyway, and investing in the BB.
Great product!

This hair dryer is all that it claims to be. It truly does give you shinier, smoother hair. I'm not too sure about it cutting down on drying time--I suppose it depends on the dryer you were using in the past. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
It's Great!!

I went to my stylist today. She told me my hair feels and looks really healthy and asked what I'm doing differently. I told her I bought a new hair dryer and I am no longer using a curling iron to smooth out my frizz. (My hair has been getting frizzier the older I get.) She was as impressed as I am. Thank you BaByliss!! I love this dryer.
Love it!!

Love this dryer. I orginally bought the T3 but returned it because it wasn't powerful enough to get through all my hair. ( I have mid back, thick, fine hair)The BaByliss does the job well, As another reviewer said the handle is small so it is easy to hold if you have small hands. The dryer is realatively quiet, and lightweight. I think most of the weight comes from the cord, which is really long and very industrial looking. (A bit overkill for home use but I'm sure salon folks will really like it.)Only thing I'm not crazy about is the controls that are in the handle, I have accidently shut it off a few times. This also occured with the T3. It drys very quickly(like 5-7 minutes) and leaves my hair soft and shiney. Folica was great to work with and also had the best price.
awesome product!

This is a GREAT dryer... dries fast (I can sleep later!)... and seems to be good on my doubly processed hair... it's very quiet... you can dry your hair and talk on the phone at the same time! (Almost!)... well worth the $$$

I bought this blow dryer for myself a few months ago. I now realize why I was never able to get my hair to look the way it does when they do it at a salon. It's all in the blow drier. Not your technique. I finally have salon quality blow outs at home. I just puchased 3 more for each of my daughters as Christmas presents. They all agree...it's amazing. There's not even a need for a flat iron/straightener anymore.
