Best Iron Ever! forget ur CHI

This iron has the ability to straighten my hair in like ten minutes if I do it quickly. It keeps my hair straight for days and even though I live in the most humid environment it prevents my hair from frizzing. Also, it doesn't make my hair feel brittle, dry, or damaged like other irons. It feels silky and smooth and soft. It's completely awesome my whole family has it and most of my friends now since they always used to try and borrow mine. I recommend this to anyone who wants a professional style straightening.

I bought this flat iron a few days ago,and have had it for maybe 4 now,only been using it for 3 days but it is by far the best thing I've ever gotten for my hair. I'm African American with fine,shoulder length hair.I have baby hair that refused to go away and would leave humps on the sides of both my hair-even after a relaxer.I bought the Solia after getting annoyed with the cheap straighteners that smoke and take over 30 minutes to straighten.The Solia heats up quick but doesn't show smoke like the others-I also have yet to burn myself which is a shock to my friends and family.It does what it says,my hair is incredibly soft after using it and shiny.The baby hairs finally lay down,which is all worth the money for me.My only advice if you do purchase the straightener is to invest in some heat protection-although it doesn't show heat or smell like it is even releasing heat the thing is hot and could easily burn away at your hair.I use motions heat spray-their products work for me,but I think most heat products will do the job. I HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone that needs a quality straighter that doesn't cost an arm and leg,doesn't like to spend FOREVER on doing her hair and wants to keep hair looking healthy and happy. :) I attached my morning hair(actually decent for once) and the after once straightened with Solia.Took a little over 10 minutes to do.

I am a Caucasian male who has thick curly hair, and I hate it! I once have had my hair chemically straightened and it did not last over two weeks. I have tried a department store straightener and it just took too long and was frustrating to use since my hair would stick up and curl in weird ways--I had to go over the same spots again and again twisting my hair in the opposite direction. I just thought this was going to be my everyday battle, until I tried a professional hair straightener a friend of mine had in preparation for a wedding. My hair was straightened quickly and easily, and I knew I had to get one. After two days of using this product, I would recommend it to anyone! I just crank up the heat to 450 F(since my hair has horrible curls) and just go to town for a few minutes... after about 15 - 20 minutes my hair is shiny and ever so straight. GUYS DON'T BE AFRAID TO GO STRAIGHT, THIS WORKS FOR US! A MAN'S HAIR STRAIGHTENER WITH MORE POWER!!

This is my 2nd flat iron, but my first quality one. Heats up quickly, & smoothes out my thick, kind of coarse hair really easily. Styling product buildup cleans off easily. Swiveling cord is nice - never gets tangled. Size is perfect for short hair, but still handles bigger sections well.

I am very picky, and I tend to research everything before buying. I have used Chi flat irons in the past. I had the basic and then the Turbo. I hated the Turbo. The Solia is very comparable to the basic Chi, but better for your hair. My hair tends to frizz in the Arkansas humidity, and this iron makes it nice and smooth. No snagging of hair. Very easy to use. Great product for the price.

i unlike most people purhasing this straightner, have rather wavish/straight hair. but i spend $88.00 to buy the solia because i heard that its the absoulute best!!! oh and it is!! this straightner not only does what it is supposed to do (straighten) but also gives a glossy finish. it doesnt damage your hair at all either. and when your finished straightening it makes your hair look likes it's always been straight, what i mean is it looks like thats your naturaul hair and you did nothing to it at all. i makes it seem as if your hair has always been pin drop straight its the best straightner ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

This straightner did everything i hoped it to do...swivel cord, dosn't snag on hair, heats up way better than my cheapo one, and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. It actually FEELS healthier and silkier when im done, unlike the cheap straightners....it also leaves my hair straightned for a longer time cuz i only wash my hair everty 2-3 days and it keeps it straight EVEN when i put in a pony tail! i would highly recommend

i absolutely love my solia flat iron. I have thick curly hair and it did an awesome job in just 15-20 minuets. All i had to do when i got out of the shower was blow dry it (not all the way, it was still a little bit damp) and then straighten it on heat 370. I would recommend it to anyone. I could feel how smooth it was. It didn't snag or burn my hair. I absolutely love it!!! Buy one. Its great!!!

I would have to say that even though I am a "beginner" at using a flat iron, I was impressed with how well this Solia works. I have medium length hair, with a tendency to frizz. So after i blow dried my hair, it only took me 15 minutes to completely straighten it. I had 2 other flat irons but they were both cheap (Target bought) and they were snagging my hair every time I used them, so I decided it was time to buy the "real" thing and i splurged on this $88 dollar one - great decision! it is well worth it; and Folica is a great site to order from - i placed my order on a Monday and I received it on Wednesday!! (and that was with the UPS Ground shipping)

I have mixed hair so its hard to find anything that can tame it without destroying it since its so fragile. I've always bought the cheap flat irons from the drug store and was starting to notice my hair getting worse and worse. I decided to buy the Solia after reading reviews on it and the Sedu and the CHI. The price was right and everyone's review said it was amazing and here I am agreeing with them! WOW! I can't believe this thing! It doesn't pull or snag like the Conair P.O.S. I have and it keeps my hair smooth all day. I can also get close to my head which I had trouble with before. If you are debating on which flat iron to get THIS IS IT! You just can't beat it. And Folica will throw in a heat resistant pouch/pad. :)
