I really love this product... I have searched so long for the perfect straightening balm, and i think this is it! I use to use chi straight guard smoothing styling cream with chi silk infusion, but retired from the routine cuz it left my hair dry and after using silk infusion it looked shiny but dull n stiff to the touch... now i use this stuff plus one n only argan oil (im in love!)... i have very thick curly coarse hair and this stuff does alot for me... I like that the texture is not greasy, nor sticky, almost jelly-like, so it won't make you hair look heavy or greasy if you use it right... A little goes a long way...I use about a quarter size on my hair that goes all the way down my back... It cuts blow-dry time in half, and helps smooth out curls very easily...it does have this herbal-plant(grass)-like smell to it when u first put it on, which at first i didn't like, but it does not linger, and after it dries it kinda has a floral-coconutty smell... I flat iron my hair frequently, so when i wanna go straight, i use this... Its my new secret weapon... The results are shiny, bouncy, flat, frizz-free beautiful hair! and here in humid Florida, my hair actully stays straight and flat... a miracle! i'll be trying more products from paul brown, i trust that these products are good quality for reasonable prices. :)
great in high humidity and works for curly styles, too

My Paul Brown stylist uses this on my hair every time he styles it, and it prevents my permed hair from frizzing out, even in high humidity Hawaii. I've tried a ton of products...Aveda, Fekkai, John Frieda, Bumble & Bumble, Biolage, etc. I use it at home, too, along with BioSilk Silk Therapy. I put the Biosilk on first, esp. on ends, and then the Stay Straight Balm all over. Twist hair by sections (larger sections for bigger curls), then diffuse dry it. Very easy.
