I have short and, sadly, pretty unremarkable eyelashes. The issues I have had with "traditional" eyelash curlers is twofold: first, my lashes are so short I had trouble getting my lashes even in the darn things; and second, once I did more often than not I'd end up with this artificial spiked curl look that left a noticeable "crimp" in my lashes. I also usually lost a lash or two because of having to use pressure instead of heat to curl them. The design of the Blinc lash curler is wonderful!! However, the instructions need a bit of a tune-up. Here's how to use the Blinc curler to get truly *amazing* results without the issues of other curlers: 1. Start at the base of your lashes. The instructions say to start in the middle but I've found starting at the outside 1/2 is easiest for me. I then do the inside 1/2 of the lash base. 2. Once you finish the base of the lashes of one eye do the base lashes of the other eye so the first eye's lashes have time to cool and "set". 3. After you've done the base of the lashes of both eyes, its time to move on to add the CURL. Do this by taking the curler to the very tips of the lashes and push - gently (no real pressure required here folks) - the tips of the lashes in towards the skin of your eyelid and down towards the base of your lashes. Your lashes should basically form a small circle at this point. 4. As for how long to hold the base or tips of the lashes in place I've found that 15 seconds is pretty optimal for me. 5. If at this point you still want more LIFT, do the base of the lashes again. For more CURL, do the tips again. Hope this helps all of you lash stylists out there ;-) As an added bonus this item is totally purse friendly too.

I absolutely love this eyelash curler! By far the best I have used. I have naturally long lashes but this really just creates a dramatic curl. Plus the heat feels good on your eyelid as you're curling haha. I give it 5 stars, definitely recommend! Thanks Folica
