I have owned Solano in the past and was very satisfied This platinum is correctly named. It is fantastic.. Stylish, priced right and fast.It is a little heavier than the previous model I owned, but that's o k, because it takes less time to use. Excellent choice

Excellent dryer. A little on the heavy side but well worth the muscle. It dries thick hair very fast.

i love this hair dryer. i have very curly hair and i can never find a hair dryer that won't break down due to over heating. this hair dryer is very powerful. i would definetly recomend it for ladies who have thick , wavy or curly hair.

I love this hairdryer, it dries really quickly, the metal nozzle does get hot so I use the plastic one, I did a lot of resaerch on dryers before buying, and these ones came out good as the motors are made in Italy and last longer. Also Folica were really quick at processing and shipping my order

Great hairdryer! Dries my hair so quickly and doesn't leave frizzies! Makes it shinier, too.

This was my second Solano Platinum hair dryer purchase from Folica and I'm pleased all the way around. The first one lasted for 3+ years. It didn't completely die, but it was time for a new one. I have thick curly hair which I blow out straight and as many of you know, this is a timely and tiring process. This hair dryer gets very hot and dries my hair quickly. I can't remember how long it took with previous hair dryers, but I will continue to purchase this product again and again.

I'm on my 3rd solano platnum hair dryer in six years... as a professional stylist of 14 years, I have never found a dryer that dries as fast and smooth with the gold nozzle attatchment. I get stellar results for a more natural finish when not used in conjunction with a flat iron, but rather a large round boar brush.

I can't remember when I bought my Solano Platinum but it must be at least 2-3 years old and I have never had any of the problems I read on this site. Although I did find it heavy in the beginning, you do get used to it and for me there is no going back (any other hairdryer feels like a tinkertoy). This is definitely the supersonic concorde of hairdryers and I'm very happy with the quality so far (I use it 4-5 times a week for 15 minute intervals).

I just received my dryer last week and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It does get hot on the nozzle end but it really does a great job on my hair. I have very thick and course hair so I tend to go through those department store blow dryers in a year or so. I'm hoping to have better luck with this one.
