i have thick curly hair, and i've had some past damage from flat ironing it. I used this conditioner. It's a pretty good conditioner. My only complaint is that if you use it a lot, or even every other day it will start to make your hair kind of frizzy and brittle from too much protein. You should buy it, and only use it when your hair gets really damaged, it is not meant to be an everyday conditioner. If you need to use an anti damage conditioner everyday i would reccommend Frederic Fekkai Moisture Conditioner instead. It does make your hair a lot more soft though, and i imagine that it would work wonders on straight hair.
