I just got this straightener today and it really works on wet hair great if you do not wat to waste time blow drying your hair. I don't know why people rate it so low, my sister and I both have one and we both have super thick frizzy, wavy hair this straightener rocks!!

I Dont own this product yet but anyways my aunt has one. she did it on my hair and it was so straight, silky and smooth. Im ordering one. YOU PEOPLE WHO SAY IT DOESNT WORK ND ITS A PEICe OF CRAP, It works great, YOu MUST NOT KNOW HOW TO USE IT IF UR BURNING UR HANDZ... ITS SO GREAT ORDER IT!!!!!!

at bed bath and beyond i saw this straightener for lyk $30 and i decided to buy it. i have really thick, long, frizzy hair and instantly it gets smooth, light, and extremely straight. it doesnt take me any longer than 5 min to get beautiful long lasting straight hair. All of my friends fell in love with it and said it works way better than their $100 straighteners. The only problem with it is that it takes a while to heat up except it gets very hot and has a range of temperatures which is great. I recommend this straightener to everyone.
Use on dry or almost dry hair...

I think this is a very good flat iron, if used on wet hair you won't achieve a whole lot with it other than aggravation, so it's best when used on hair that is just about dry or completely dry. I have 3c type hair-shoulder length (really tight curls), and what works for me is first I apply some heat protectant serum then blowdry my hair straight with a ceramic round brush (takes me almost thirty minutes, once that's done I set the temperature on the flat iron to about 22 (that level works really well on my hair. The flat iron comes with instructions that recommend what level of heat to use on the hair, but I suggest just play around with it and see what level works best on your hair). It heats up very quick, you'll hear a beep sound but it's not loud at all. I use this flat iron, takes me about 15 minutes, and my hair comes out shiny and completely straight. Even my husband asked if that was really my hair, he couldn't believe how flat and straight it was. I love it! This flat iron works really good, and you can't beat the price. I use it several times a week for touch ups and my hair is healthy and has no split ends.

Well, in the pictures it was used with the one inch. But they are about the same, just wider. This was used on my moms hair.

if your reading this you probably already saw a bunch of bad reviews, DON'T BELIVE THEM! i am half african american with very curly hair. it straightens unbelievably!! no joke this straightiner is amazing. i would without a doubt but this again and tell others to buy it. but lets face it pretty much all straighteners leave you with some damedge. buy this one it is only $30 and it WORKS VERY WELL!

I have this iron for about 5 months, and i like it a lot, i use it about 3 times a week, and it heats up fast, does the job faster than other irons, I don't use it on wet hair cause it damages too much, but on damp hair it works fine, i preffer to use it on dry hair... It's easy to use, the temperature set is great.... The bad thing is that it does smell like burning when you turn it on, but doesn't actually smell like burning your hair..

it works good with my hair it does NOT and i repeat NOT makes my hair smell burnt i think it complements my style very well it hasent turned any color yet and all my friends use it they say its perfect for everyday use i recommend personally

These other people are obv exaggerating. I have fairly straight hair already, but after i straighten my hair w. this iron, i can see the diff. friends even asked my if i got a haircut because it looks like it would after the salon blow dries and/or straightens your hair. My hair stays straight for a few days, too. i straightened my hair yesterday morning and now it is still pin straight, the next day at 730 pm, like it was right after i straightened it. I will admit that a little frizz comes, but not a lot. my friend came over one day right after her shower and she straightened her hair, when it was still wet. it dried w.in seconds-no joke. These other reviews are of ppl w. thick, curly hair, but if you have straighter hair like me, it works really well.

I have really long, wavey hair and have had 3 different straighteners previous to this one. This flat iron is by far my favorite. Although it doesn't work that well when your hair is soaking wet, it does work quite efficiently on damp, or slightly blow-dried hair. I've found that it takes less time in the morning when I don't have to completely dry my hair before even starting the process of straightening it. I would recommend this flat iron simply because the price is unbeatable for the product you receive.
