Sooo glad I did my homework and went with this instead of a Chi. It works just as well (maybe better?) and I expect it to last a lot longer. My VERY curly hair is straight and sleek with only one pass. It stays that way too even through humidity!!! I'm officially in love.

I have been straightening my hair for years using many different types of flat irons and none had been easier to use and has made my hair feel so soft and smooth than the Sedu Flat Iron. I have very thick and curly hair and it does wonders. It heats up very quickly and I never have to use the highest setting to get my hair straight, which I always have had to do on previous flat irons. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who is interested in a quality flat iron!

I purchased this flat iron after many reviews on this site. i have very thick african-american hair. I have permed my hair for many years, but almost a year ago, I began to get my hair braided. I decided that I needed a really good flat iron to cope with my hair....and MAN this is the best $100 I have ever spent. My hair has bounce! It has shine. It feels healthy...without a chemical. If you are on the fence about this product, jump over the fence ladies! If I could get my hair straighened with this thing...ANYONE CAN!

I love this flat iron! I spent hours researching which flat iron to buy (to replace my Chi that kept coming off and on) and I'm so glad I chose this one! It leaves your hair sleek and smooth, it's not too heavy, and it doesn't pull your hair. This is a great product! If you're looking around for the best flat iron at the best value, like I did, you can stop looking now and go ahead and buy this one!

Forget about the 1 1/2" iron. This 1" does just fine unless you have REALLY unruly hair. I love this. It works so well, even when my hair is still a little wet. It's very travel friendly. I only wish it curled better. It doesnt work on me as nicely and easily as it does in the youtube video shown. But for straightening hair? There's nothing better.

I got my sedu today, just got done with my hair.I have thick curly hair and it made it look amazinggggg!You can not go wrong with the sedu.It's wonderful.Made my hair so shiny and silky.Unbelievable ! <3

I did not really know the difference in flat irons until I bought and tried this one. It glides through the hair, it's lightweight and it feels different in your hand. My hair was straight on the first pass. I love it!

I am hook, love it. Don't take my word. get one and try it! I love the way it makes my hair feel and look.I use it on my granddaughter an her mother love the way her hair look.

I've had this about a month now. It was a huge upgrade from my 10 year old Conair flat iron and it works great. My hair is wavy, frizzy, and generally unruly. The straightener is super easy to use, glides right through my hair, and really adds a nice shine. I blow dry my hair first and I notice that if I do not run the sedu through my hair afterwards, I don't get the same shine and color dimension. I have no complaints!
Sedu is the best.

I bought 2 of these and gave them to my 28 and 16 year old daughters. They both said that this was the best flat iron that they have used and they have used many.
