I purchased the pink Solia flat iron. I just to hate my hair and now I get compliments all the time. This is a very good product. My hair would not come out like it did after my stylist flat ironed it but she did give me one tip,when you are flat ironing your hair follow a iron, section your hair, I use a rat tail comb, comb a section with the flat iron right behind it, it evens the out the heat, and now my hair looks just like I had it styled. Great, I love it. Anyone can look like they came out of a salon with this flat iron.

i am an african american female. my hair is really nappy. most of my friends say they've never seen such type hair. even when i put a perm on my hair i still have an afro. lol. so i usually wear weaves ( wet & wavy ) and nothing can get them straight either. so after reading the reviews i bought this flat iron. I LOVE IT!!! at first i was just using it on my weaves, but then one day my friends put it on my ponytail, and OMG... my hair was no long frizzy. i didnt even know my hair was that long. so yes I LOVE THIS FLAT IRON and the fact that its PINK!!!

I love this iron because my hair is so thick, and it is still able to make my hair straight in one pass. I have practiced curling, and now I am able to. The curls last a few days, and curling iron curls only last an hour or so on me. So if you are thinking about buying it, please do.

I got the pink solia flat iron on Christmas of 2006. I have had it for more than a year and half and it is still working good. I have natural wavy and fizzy hair. It cut doing my hair half the time I spend with a cheap flat iron. This flat iron smoothes my hair and shines as well. The same Christmas my sister got the chi flat iron, hers stopped heating up and working about six months after she got it. I have noticed that my flat iron has damaged my hair lately. But what flat iron and curling iron doesn't. But it's also almost two years old, it's probably time for me to buy another solia. I would definitely choice this flat iron over other brands.

I purchased this iron for my very thick,coarse,wavy hair. I had tried a CHI before and it didn't work that great on my hair. It took a few passes to get it really straight. This iron is amazing!!!! It gets really hot very fast. I use it on the highest setting and one swipe and my hair is pin straight. I used to have to blow dry with a round brush then flat iron to make it look good. Now I let my hair air dry and just use the Solia. I have actually thrown out all my anti- frizz serums because I no longer need them. The best iron for the best price!!!!!!

i have naturally wavy hair and my other store brand straightner did NOT work for me, but this... was absoultley the best! i've tried my friend's CHI and it pulled my hair, not this one! And it heats up speedy quick in like, under 30 seconds!!! My mom has naturally really really really curly hair, i straightned her hair in under 30 minitues, same with my aunts who has the same type of hair! I recommend this product to anyone!!! ~Amanda~

I'll admit it takes a while to get the hang of this iron, but once you do, itll be sooo worth it! play around with it a bit and get used to it. I love the way it leaves my hair pin straight, and how it makes lovely curls...easily! my thin frizzy hair used to never curl no matter what...now with this iron i curl my hair in 30 min and itll last all day! all i do is add some leave in conditioner and then curl and its good! My sister has thick long hair and it works perfect for her too!

I love it! It heats up so FAST! Very easy to use! It also leaves my hair very smooth!! 200% GREAT IRON for you hair!

i bought the pink one coz i thought it was cute and becoz of all the reviews i read...when i tried it,it was awesome it heated up real fast,and even though my hair is thick i only fnished my hair in 20 minutes.my other hair iron takes me 40 to 45 minutes...solia is awesome....
