GREAT investment!

I got over two years of almost daily use out of this straightener! My hair is naturally curly and this iron made it super straight and ultra-silky - it heats up very quickly and distributes the heat evenly without 'frying' the hair cuticle. Mine just stopped working last week, it just wouldn't heat up anymore... I've been mourning the loss of my trusted BaByliss friend, time for a new one!

I bought this iron a year ago and still works perfect! This was recommended my my sister's hairstylist. It works great on long hair. I have long, frizzy, thick hair and this flat iron tames my hair. I get a lot of compliments on my hair...very shinny and straight. I am looking for a 1" flat iron but Babyliss doesn't make 1" iron same as this.

I got this flat iron when i was in cosmetology school in AZ, and that was in 2006, i have had this iron till this very day and it works great, never had or have any problems with it. It works on even wet hair altho its not good to do that cus any iron or styling hot product will fry ur hair, but this one is great i love it, but i should start looking to buy another just in case right. Its been 3 years and counting and i still have mine and its working like new!

I just bought this Babyliss straightener and it works great on my long, thick and coarse hair. I had tried a Solia but it left my hair frizzy and static. This iron makes my hair very soft and shiny with no frizz at all, which is unbelievable because my hair is naturally very frizzy. The other straightener that gave me similar results was CHI Turbo 2", but the BaByliss works just as well and costs so much less. Also, the wider plates make straightening process faster. This iron almost doesn't pull hair and glides through very easily. After using it my stubborn hair stays perfectly straight for hours and even the next day it is still pretty straight and frizz free. The only inconvenient part is working with the bangs but I'm growing mine out so it won't be a problem once it gets a little longer. This iron doesn't have plates that move with your wrist but it doesn't make the performance any worse. It is heavier than the other irons I've used, but my hand doesn't get tired - maybe because the straightening process takes only about 15 minutes.

This is my second time buying this flat iron. It is absolutely amazing! I am Latina and have thick wavy hair. This flat iron leaves it so sikly and shiny. People actually ask me if my hair is naturally straight. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who has wavy or curly hair.

I have waited almost a year now to write a product review... since most people wrote it died out after a few uses. I have been using this product for more than a year now and it works great! I am honestly happy with my purchase. I have long hair so the thicker the straightener the faster and easier the process!

This product works on my and my daughter's hair. We are African-American with long, thick and wavy hair. Our hair is smooth and shiny after using. It is also very durable and we have had ours for over a year!

I have the Babybliss in a one inch size and it is perfect! The plates heatup quickly and remain hot the whole time. I have reallllly thick hair and with other irons it can be difficult to the get a smooth look, but this iron leaves my hair looking like I spent hours at the salon!

I had the previous model of this flat iron. Silver with white ceramic plates. I bought it almost 5 years ago and until last week it died all of the sudden :( But before that it still worked amazing! I must say this is a VERY durable flat iron. I may have dropped it like 3 times in those 5 years - and my mom left it ON one day for MANY hours (thank God my house didn't burn down) and the only thing it happend was that the blades turned somewhat brownish... but it still worked like new!!! I love that it straightend my hair really fast and didn't damage it. My cousin payed way more for a CHI and i tried it, and I prefer this one over a million times better - that's why i'm buying this one again

this is worth every penny and it keeps your hair straight for hours and even thru humidity which i have to deal with every day of my life. the only down falll is that it's so hott it burn's your hair butt that's why theres a temperature adjuster. it's amazing and perfect, BUY IT.
