Okay, well I have thick, wavy/TIGHT-curly hair. The part of my hair that has tight curls has always been, like, impossible to straighten and keep straight, especially since the only thing I used before this was a cheap wal-mart straightener. When i first got this straightener I was REALLY dissapointed. I'd never sectioned off my hair to straighten it before so I didnt even try. After almost a year I tried sectioning it and it worked PERFECT!!! :) Recently I got my hair cut shorter than I have in years (I've always kept it long) and got bangs a bit under my eye... I expected them to be kind of frizzy...then it got them like perrrrrrrrrrrrfectly stight. All my friends were asking me how I got my hair so straight. I'm so happy with it. p.s. I always set the heat to 400.

I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago and its is great, the color is nice too, because I wanted something young and not old lady looking. I used it to straighten my sisters hair which is thick and curly. Both of my other sister said that they really liked mine because it was sturdy, and worked well. I am going to buy one for my sister for Christmas:)

I bought the 2 inch version of this straightener and I thought it worked quite well! For less frizz, I just used clips and separated my hair into layers just so I don't have to go over "thick" spots many times, which if you do, it will result in frizzy and dry hair. I also use serum or heat spray on those layers for added protection. I'm not sure if it's the combination of products I use with this straightener that make it great, but I think this product is amazing. The previous straighteners I've owned were either crap or died within a few months of ownership. I love this flat iron =)

ive had about 2 other straighteners in the past, a remington wet2straight, which sucked, and a conair infiniti, which fried my hair to a crisp. so i saw this pretty straightener at kohls for a hefty $78, my mom shaking her head, replying with, "christmas". so on christmas day, there it was! i immediately whipped that bad boy out. the dial on the side had many heat settings, and having naturally rediculously thick hair, was ecstatic about the 405 degree heat setting, and cranked it up, gazing upon the pretty green light glowing about. after a quick 30 second heat up, i picked it up and straightened my hair, and voila! hair flatter than a board in about 45 minutes, a break from my usual hour and a half. and even better, it stayed straight the rest of the day! and i slept on it, and was practically pin straight in the morning too. my friends were all so amazed at my straightener as well! best investment ever made on a hair product, and i completely recommend it to anybody.

I first got my Bedhead from Target. I saw it and since my Conair was a bust. I was first atracted to the look and sleek design of the flat iron. I saw the price, and was confident that it was better than what I had. So I got it. I love it! And so do my friends.

My hair is extremely curley and thick. I have never been able to find a hair straightener that did anything for me that didn't take any less then 2 to 3 hours ! Until now ! this straightener can have my hair flat as a board in about 20 mins to half an hour and my hair is 24" long ! By far the best thing I have ever used on my head. :)

i'm in middle school and i just bought this today and it is awesome. i'm ethiopian and i have really frizzy hair and in 30 min it straightened my hair perfectly luv it!!! :]

Being Israeli, I have extremely thick and curly hair which, as many women know, is such a hassle; especially when trying to find decent styling products for our hair. I saw this straightener at Walgreens and thought that it may be a reliable styling tool (especially because BedHead products tend to work well on my hair), so I figured I'd give it a try. Since I was going on a trip to Baltimore that day I left my CHI straightener at home and decided to gamble on the BedHead straightener for Thanksgiving vacation. The straightener worked miracles! It worked so well that I tossed the CHI straightener and I now sware by it. It heats up to 400 degrees, but you don't even need all of that in order to achieve that perfect silky, straight, smooth style we all desire. It's affordable, efficient, and reliable.
